Celiac disease (Predisposition for intolerance to gluten)

Gluten intolerance, or Celiac disease is a condition characterized by inflammation of the lining of the small intestine as a result of an immune reaction caused by ingested gluten.

Celiac disease has a strong hereditary component, which can be diagnosed with an analysis that accurately proves the presence or the absence of different haplotypes that indicate predispositions to the development of this disease.
